Governor Ododo Flags Off Distribution Of Fertilizer To Kogi Farmers,Reads Riot Acts To Saboteurs
In a major boost for agriculture in Kogi State, Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo has inaugurated the distribution of over 20 trucks of fertilizer to farmers across all 21 local government areas.
At the ceremony in Lokoja, Ododo reiterated his commitment to transforming the agricultural productivity in the state and warned against any attempts at diversion or political manipulation of the resources.
He assured that the fertilizer would be strictly allocated to genuine farmers, with a vigilant tracking system in place to ensure fair distribution.

Ododo also emphasized that this initiative is critical for bolstering the state’s food security and economic recovery, highlighting the strategic allocation of 50% of the fertilizer to Ibaji and Bassa, areas with significant farming clusters.
He praised President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for enhancing agricultural incentives nationwide and reaffirmed his administration’s dedication to sustaining agricultural progress in Kogi State.
The fertilizer distribution, facilitated by the Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security, aligns with Kogi’s vision of becoming a leading agricultural hub in Nigeria.
