Gov. Yusuf Condoles with Families of Late Police Personnel, Donates Cash
Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf has expressed his condolences to the families of five police personnel who died in a tragic motor accident in Karfi town along the Kano-Zaria road last Tuesday, as they were returning from Edo State.
This was contained in a statement issued by the Governor’s Spokesperson, Sanusi Bature Dawakin Tofa, in Kano.
The Governor, accompanied by top government officials, visited the Bichi Area Command of the Nigeria Police Force to commiserate with the families of the deceased and those injured in the incident.

On behalf of the government and the people of Kano, Governor Yusuf prayed for Almighty Allah to grant the departed souls eternal rest in Jannatul Firdausi, a speedy recovery for the injured, and to prevent such incidents from occurring in the future.
In addition, Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf has donated five hundred thousand naira to each of the families of the five deceased personnel, and two hundred and fifty thousand naira to each of the eleven injured personnel.
It may be recalled that five personnel attached to the Bichi Area Command of the Nigeria Police Force lost their lives in the accident while returning from Edo State after the governorship election.
