After TR Digest Report, Gov. Kefas Approves N11 Million Scholarship for Law Indigent Students
Taraba State Governor Dr. Agbu Kefas has approved the sum of eleven million, one hundred thousand naira for immediate disbursement of scholarship allowances for Taraba State students in the Nigerian Law School.
This is contained in a statement signed and released to newsmen by the Commissioner of Information and Re-oreintation, Zainab Usman Jalingo.
According to the statement, the allowances affects students set of 2022/2023 academic year of the institution.

It adds that the gesture reinforces the commitment of the present administration of Agbu Kefas in prioritising education sector of the state and ensuring students concentrate fully on their studies without undue concerns about their financial well-being.
Meanwhile, a Jalingo based human rights lawyer Barr. Bilyaminu Lukman Maihanci has applauded governor Agbu Kefas for approving the allowances for the state law students saying the gesture will boost the moral of students of law profession in the state.
Last year, Maihanci made an appeal to the Taraba State government to come to the aid of the state indegines studying law by giving them allowances to enable them enroll into the Nigerian Law School which requires almost half a million Naira for each student.
