Gov. Fintiri decorates his CSO, Abubakar with new rank as CSP
AREWA AGENDA- Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri of Adamawa state has decorated his Police Chief Security Officer (CSO), Othman Abubakar with his new rank of Chief Superintendent of Police (CSP).
Performing the familiar function, Gov. Fintiri, who was assisted during the brief ceremony by the Deputy Commissioner of Police –Administration (DCP) Umar Dankombo wished him God’s guidance and success in all his future endeavors.
A graduate of Bayero University Kano (BUK), CSP Abubakar had earlier served as an Aide de Camp (ADC) to Fintiri during his short reign as acting governor.
Not only that, CSP Othman Abubakar a graduate of political science and master holder in conflict and security management has been the most long-reigned police public relation officer (PPRO) in the state.

Recalling with nostalgia DSP Bashir Mohammed another senior cop who had worked closely with the CSO said that ‘’ I will ever acknowledge what God has elevated in doing so, may I say, congratulations to CSO to the Governor, CSP Othman Abubakar.
‘’ No one deserves this more than you do – you worked tirelessly to hit this milestone. I know there are bigger and better things awaiting you in the near future. Congratulations sir,’’
Mohammed, was emphatic that the profile of the promoted principal officers of the command was tracked and the result was quite revealing and interesting.
‘’ In fact this promotion could be seen as a mark of reward to gallantry and committed to duty.
We pray for God’s guidance,’’ he prayed.
