The supplementary budget was recieved during plenary session, presided over by the speaker Alhaji Isma’il Jibril Falgore.
The speaker pointed out that, the executive is seeking the approaval of the house, in accordance section 121 (a) and (b) of the 1999 constitution.

He explained that, KNSG highlighted that, the 2023 proposed supplementary budget becomes necessary, to sharpen the focus of the government , to deliver its objectives by accelerating the executions of priority projects.
In another development, the house has called on the State government to construct road from Mahuwa through Janguza Gari to Durum.
This was sequel to a motion moved by the deputy speaker, who doubles as member representing Rimin Gado/ Tofa constituency, Alhaji Muhammad Bello Butu Butu, seconded by member representing Kiru, Alhaji Usman Abubakar Kiru, supported by the lawmakers.
The house, has also adopted a resolution and called on the State government, to establish fire service office at Garko local government, in a motion moved by Alhaji Murtala Muhammad Kadage.
Other motions adopted includes,the provision of portable drinking water from Wudil water treatment plant Gano, Dawakiji, Zogarawa,Yar Gaya and Jido all in Dawakin Kudu Local Government area.
Similarly,the Kano State systematic land Titling Registration Bill,2023 has scaled first reading, by the Clerk and head of legislative service Alhaji Ali Maje.
The House adjourned sitting to tuesday 26th september 2023, in a motion moved by the Majority Leader Lawan Husaini Dala, seconded by Sule Lawan Shuwaki.
