Goje lambasts political betrayers as he speaks in Kano

Senator Danjuma Goje has spoken bitterly against politicians he had helped to limelight but have turned out to become opponents out of betrayal.
Goje spoke in Kano over the weekend at the commissioning ceremony of the FBB Rice Mill in Kano founded by a former member House of Representatives Fatima Binta Binya Bello now turned business woman, from Gombe state.
“Binta Bello is not a betrayer but there are very many here that have been helped to limelight that have become something else.
“There are those I have personally picked from the streets, who were nothing and had nothing and helped them to become something that have turned themselves into my opponents.
“We from Gombe are proud of her. I Muhammad Danjuma Goje in my position, regardless of any position I have held will always be there to give anybody from Gombe the support he needs irrespective of his political inclination.
“I challenge the people of Gombe to emulate her and do even better than her” he stated.
Speaking on the rice mill which has the capacity to produce 160 tons of rice per day with a work force of 100 employees, Fatima stated that it is move towards attaining food security in the country.

“The reason for this initiative is to attain food security. You can see the standard of rice we can make in Nigeria with which we can compete with any international rice producer. We have to thank Mr President for giving Nigerians the opportunity to explore what can be made in Nigeria through the food security policy.
“If the trend continues, in the next coming years, Nigeria will be supplying not only West Africa with rice but will go international due to the quality and quantity of rice now produced in Nigeria.
Delivering an address at the occasion, the Chairman of Kano Electric Company (KEDCO), Alh Isyaku Gwamna expressed happiness that the mill had been established in his area of power distribution as it will consume electricity worth N20m to N30m monthly while promising to ensure constant power supply.
“They will be paying me N20m to N30m monthly as I supply them with power.
“We are proud that someone from Gombe is doing this good and we promise to give you the best of services to ensure you succeed” the Kano DISCO chief declared.
Also present at the event were Senator Bala Ibn Na’Allah, Muhammad Atiku Abubakar, and the Director of Atiku Support Organization (ASO), Abubakar Atiku Babawo.
