2023: Ganduje Heads to Senate as Gawuna Picks Guber Form
AREWA AGENDA – The Kano State Governor Dr Abdullahi Umar Ganduje and His Deputy Nasiru Yusuf Gawuna has today purchased the Senatorial and Governorship expression of interest and nomination forms of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Recalled that Ganduje anointed Gawuna as the preferred choice of the All Progressives Congress, APC for the 2023 governorship election at a stakeholders meeting held behind closed door at the government house which ran throughout the night till Sunday morning.
And it was gathered that the incumbent Governor revealed his ambition to run for Kano North Senator in the forthcoming election of 2023, a seat that one of the APC G-7 faction members Barau I. Jibrin is holding.
