Foundation Sponsors 124 MSc. Students, Graduates 100 Make-up Artist in a Week.

AREWA AGENDA – Adamu Abubakar Gwarzo Foundation has granted MSc. scholarship to 124 Nursing Students to further their education and Graduates 100 Orphans on Skill Acquisition of Make-up business.

This is made known by the Technical Adviser of the foundation, Dr Musa Abdullahi Sufi last week via his official Facebook account.

He said it’s part of the foundation’s objective to train the most vulnerables on Skills Acquisition in order to reduce dependency behaviour in our communities.

He reiterated that Health Sector is not left behind, hence the commitment of the foundation to grant award to 124 Nursing Graduates to further their education for the promotion and strengthening the capacity of healthcare workers across African Continent.

Apart from MSc. Scholarship and graduating make-up artists, the foundation has also visited and shared foodstuffs to more than 20 orphans families, paid rent to Zamfara and Borno internally displaced persons living in Kano State, trained 100 religious leaders and stakeholders on how to conduct awareness on healthcare issues, sensitization program on Cholera, Covid-19, Flooding and Climate Change aired on radio stations in Kano State.

While sensitizing health workers on Saturday, the Technical Adviser of the foundation called their attention to be part and parcel of creating awareness to grassroots on Cholera, Covid-19 and Tuberculosis diseases which he assured if the health workers can work tirelessly, the communicable diseases will be reduced to the maximum level.

He later thanked the Foundation’s Chairman and founder of Maryam Abacha American University (MAAUN) Professor Adamu Abubakar Gwarzo for making effort in all aspects of humanitarian interventions in order for African Region to attain the success of Sustainable Development Goals.

Sufi later appreciate The Challenge Initiative (TCI) for technical support in actualizing the dreams of the foundation.
