Foundation Empowers Over 450 Orphans in Zaria
AREWA AGENDA – Sauraniya Girl Child Care Foundation(SAGFODA), a gender focused community based organizations, has distributed palliative including funds to the 450 Orphans in Zaria between the age of 1-14.
The programme which took place on Sunday 17th January, 2021 at the Zazzau emirate palace under the able leadership of Barrister Aysha Ahmad Muhammad was aimed at reaching out thousand of orphans and less privileged in Northern part of Kaduna state.
In his remark the Emir of Zazzau His Royal Highness Amb. Ahmad Nuhu Bamalli commended the effort of the foundation and termed the outreach as first of its kind in Zazzau Emirate.
Speaking further, he said “Indeed this is part of the teachings of our noble prophet Muhammad (SAW) which says; “the one who cares for an Orphan and myself will be together in paradise like this,”

The Emir of Zazzau called on well meaning individuals to contribute in enhancing the foundations activities in any means and called for the wealthy people to emulate this philanthropic attitude of putting a smile on the faces of an Orphans.
While presenting the palliative to the beneficiaries, the a Lawmaker in Kaduna State House of Assembly, Hon.Suleiman Ibrahim Dabo (Wakilin Birnin Zazzau) has expressed his elation over the goodhearted gesture of SAGFODA.
On her part while briefing Journalists after the event, the convener Barriater Aysha Ahmad Muhammad, said “the essence of organizing this programme is to put a smile and ease hardship among the orphans from different angles of Zaria metropolitan by reaching out and touching lives of less privileged and we will look farward to have such event in southern Kaduna towards ending of this month because they have seen it on Facebook and asked to have the same in their area.”
Maryam Kabir from Liman cin iya Zaria city and Ruth Usman from Dambo area Zaria Waje thanked the founder and expressed their appreciation after receiving the palliatives from the foundation.
