Famous Imam, Sheikh Nasir Buried in Kano
AREWA AGENDA – The Emir of Kano, Alh Aminu Ado Bayero has led the funeral prayer for the late Sheikh Nasir Muhammad Nasir, the chief Imam of Waje Jumuat mosque and former Waziri of Kano.
According to Abubakar Balarabe Kofar Naisa Chief Press Secretary to Kano Emirate Council, the prayer was held around 9:am in the morning of today Thursday at Kofar Kudu emir’s palace.

After the janazah prayer the Emir of Kano and his brother of Bichi Emirate Alh Nasiru Ado Bayero in company of multitude of Muslims faithfuls accompanied the corpse to the graveyard.
The late Imam was lowered to mother earth at Dandolo cemetery Goron Dutse in Gwale local government.
The duo emirs prayed to Almighty Allah to grant the deceased Allah and give the fortitude to his family and the Muslim ummah to bear the irreparable loss.
Professor Sheikh Umar Sani Fagge is the Imam who led the Funeral Prayer of the deceased.
Sheikh Nasir Muhammad Nasir was a closed confidant of the former Emir of Kano,Alh Ado Bayero and contributed hugely towards the development of the Muslim faithfuls in the state.
He left behind wives, children and grandchildren.
