Eid-El-Fitr: Gaya tasks Nigerians to Pray for the Country’s Insecurity
AREWA AGENDA – The Member representing Albasu, Gaya and Ajingi Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon Abdullahi Mahmud Gaya urged the Muslim ummah to pray fervently for an end to the senseless killings and kidnapping occurring in some states of the federation.
Gaya made the statement in his Eid El Fitr message issued and signed by his Media Aide in Kano on Wednesday.
The Federal Lawmaker said, the insecurity in Nigeria with all remifications is ravaging the country and we shall continue to pray for an end of all these challenges going through as a nation.
While expressing his disappointment to the present situation in the country, he said the current situation is a test of faith and a challenge to everyone in Nigeria without peculiarity of religion.

Gaya also appeal to Muslims Ummah in the country to imbibe the lessons they learned during Ramadan and continue with personal sacrifices, feeding the needy, being brothers keepers and prayers for peaceful coexistence of Nigeria as a country which is in dire need of prayers.
He also urged his constituents and the country in general to be more vigilant in ensuring the security of their environment and report any suspicious movement to the security agencies nearby their location.
The member affirmed that with resolute commitments and dedications of all Nigerians, the country will overcome its present challenges especially when peoples support the security agencies with meaningful information that will assist security personnel in maintaining and safeguarding lives and properties of Nigerians.
Hon Abdullahi Mahmud Gaya also called for a National Prayer for the improvement of the nation’s economic and security challenges.
At the end of his message he felicitates with House of Representatives Speaker Femi Gbajabiamila, House Principal Leaders and other Members for witnessing another Eid celebration and pray for peace, and hitch free Eid devoid of any insecurity.
