COVID-19: Kano Govt. Launches Home Base Care Assessors
AREWA AGENDA – Kano State Covid-19 taskforce technical Committee has established a Home base care Assessors popularly (HBC Riders) aimed at reaching people in remote areas
According to the statement released by Maikudi Muhammad Marafa, Information officer
Primary Health care Management Board revealed that the taskforce committee established HBC Riders with a view of tackling the spread of the pandemic among the terming populance in the state.

In his remark while inuguarating the program, state Commissioner of Health Dr. Aminu Ibrahim Tsanyawa explained that, the establishment of the program come as the result of the coming of the second wave of the pandemic, stressing that, Health personal were trained and provide with motorcycle and medication so as to reach every nook and cranny with a view to rendering home care health emergency services.
He call on the personal to be more committed in the discharge of their assignment.
In his remark earlier, the State Coordinator On Covid-19 Task force committee who also the Executive Secretary State Primary Health care Management Board Dr. Tijjani Hussain disclosed that, the program is aim at conducting a community target sampling as well as rendering emergency services to people in hard to reach communities.
He commended the state government for it’s support to the task force committee in it’s effort towards eradicating the pandemic in the state.
He called on the people in the state to give all the necessary support and cooperation to the health personal so as to achieve the desire set objective.
