Court Sacks Member Representing Rogo Constituency
AREWA AGENDA – A court of Tribunal sitting in Kano has sacked the member representing Rogo Constituency in the State House of Assembly under the platform of All Progressives Congress, APC, Pharmacist Magaji Dahiru Zarewa.
The tribunal ordered the Independent National Electoral Commission INEC to issue a certificate of return to the second runner Jibril Ismail Falgore of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.

Mr. Zarewa was sacked by the court following a suit filed by the PDP candidate challenging his qualification in the rerun 2019 election after a court order that there was irregularities in the first election.
Zarewa was said to have not met the requirement of contesting because of his failure to resign as the Managing Director of Kano Drugs and Consumables Supply Agency thirty days to election.
The court also ordered that Jibril Falgore should immediately be sworn in by the clerk of the state assembly.
