Collaboration: Dental Therapist Registration Board of Nigeria Partners MAUN
The Board which is a Parastatal of Federal Ministry of Health is a regulatory body for the professional practice of Dental Therapists, Dental Nurses, Dental Surgery Technicians (formerly referred to as Dental Health Technicians) and Dental Surgery Assistants was promulgated to specially perform functions that are geared towards promoting a healthy oral hygiene the organization has seek to partner with Maryam Abacha American University of Nigeria.
This was disclosed during the courtesy visit by the registrar of the Board Mrs. M.O Ojo she described the institution as a giant stride toward the educational system of not only in the northern Nigeria but, the Country in general.

She said this partnership would go a long way in easing the affairs of the Board when it comes to conducting their annual examination “ Before we have to mobilized our candidate from the north to South Lagos for the annual exams but now candidate from Zamfara, Sokoto, Niger, Katsina are no longer going to Lagos for exams but to Maryam Abacha American University of Nigeria for their examinations” she said.
In his remarks the President/ founder Prof. Adamu Abubakar Gwarzo who was represented by the SA special Duties Mallam Lawal Abubakar Kankia show his appreciation to the management of the Board for finding MAUN worthy of collaboration despite the numbers of Institution in the State.
He added that it was a great privileged to receiving the Management Board Dental Therapist Registration Board of Nigeria he said
