He reiterated that the democratic system of Nigeria is not working smoothly and majority of the youths fall victims to the corrupt system, hence their engagement in political thuggery, cultism, burglary, drug addiction and other related social vices.

He urged the youths to embrace the culture of political participation and bring proper solutions to the system with a patriotic mind, education, access to information and volunteerism as the key to success. He recommended mentorship techniques to exist among the teeming youths to build their capacity towards achieving the desired goal.

Wali revisited the idea of the Kano State Youth Fund scheme that his group initiated with a blueprint on how the funds would be sourced from Private Sectors and counter funding by the State Government to empower the vulnerable youths with skills and business ideas to be self-reliant. The idea founder of CHR Aminu Magashi Garba welcomed and tasked the YOSPIS in collaboration with Ali Wali to revive.

Mal. Abdu Muhd dive into the explanation of the National Youth Policy and the potentialities of Civil Society Organisation in engaging stakeholders to make the policy implemented to touch the lives of the targeted population of youth in the country.

He confirmed that the policy is intact and favourable to the youthful generation but the implementation and sustainability make it unrealistic to touch the human needs of those designed to benefit from it.

In his comment, Dr Musa Muhammad Bello is convinced with the architectural design of the Policy and seeks a way of domesticating the same to the Kano State area of jurisdiction according to the state culture, norms and values.

At the end of the Seminar, YOSPIS Executive Director, Zainab Nasir Ahmad inaugurated members of the Silver Jubilee Celebration of the YOSPIS Planning Committee Headed by Dr Musa Muhammad Bello and Deputise by Dr Muhammad Adamu Abbas, Hannatu Suleiman Abba as the Youth Co-Chair while Zulaiha Danjuma should serve as Secretary.
