Children’s Day: Foundation Visit Admitted Children In Hospital, Donates Items To Them
In commemoration of Children’s Day celebration, a non governmental organization under the aegis of White Heart Development Initiative on Monday visited children who are admitted at Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital (AKTH) in Kano.
The foundation also donated kids items to the admitted children.
White Heart Initiative is an organization that works to improve the lives of women, girls and children through credible access to healthcare, education, empowerment and amplifying voices against Gender Based Violence.

While speaking, the Executive Director of the foundation, Khadija Aliyu Ammani noted that it’s very important to support the children in this critical time.
She stressed that helping children who are in need is as well as helping to build a nation because children are the leaders of tomorrow.
He then enjoin governments at all levels to ensure children are given priorities in their annual budgets.
“On 27th May 2024 which is the International Children’s day we visited Sick Children on Admission at Pediatric Surgical Ward at Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital and also Pediatric Surgical Ward and Pediatric Emergency Unit at Murtala Muhammad Specialist Hospital Kano. 100 Children benefited from the children’s package we shared”, the foundation’s Executive Director said.
