BUK NAES Honours Dan Iya of Ebiraland in Kano

The National Association of Ebira Students, Bayero University Kano (BUK) Chapter on Tuesday honours Alhaji Isa Abdulmalik (Dan Iya of Ebiraland) with the award of Excellence.
While presenting the award to him in his office in Kano, the outgoing President of the association, Comrade Usman Ibrahim Arigi described Dan Iya as a man of uncommon will and a true son of Ebiraland.
Comrade Arigi noted that Dan Iya has for years been willing to contribute to the development and progress of Ebiraland, the predispositions he said he gained from his late father, Alhaji Abdulmalik Isa, popularly known with the sobriquet of Isa Estate during his lifetime.
The outgoing NAES President then charged other notable Ebira sons and daughters to emulate the exemplary qualities of Dan Iya, enjoining them to always contribute to the overall development of the land, since we have no otter place to be called home,but Ebiraland.
Appreciating, Alhaji Abdulmalik Isa Abdullahi (Dan Iya), thanked the NAES leadership for considering him worthy of such honourable awards.
He then apologised to them for being his lack of attendance during the association’s day few weeks ago.

He vowed to continue to support the development of the association, and every other program or activity that is geared towards the progress and development of Ebiraland.
He then charged the association’s president, Comrade Usman Ibrahil Arigi to advice Ebira students to be serious with their study, and remain trouble-free.
Also honoured, was a veteran female journalist and broadcaster, Madam Yusuf O. Maimuna of Freedom FM, Kano.
Madam Maimuna has been active supporters of the BUK NAES’ programs, events and activities. She also appreciated the association for deeming her fit for the honour.
Also in attendance was Ahmad Abdulganiyy Anda, the
President -elect, NAES BUK CHAPTER, who thanked the outgoing president of the association, Comrade Usman Ibrahim Arigi for setting the bar so high.
He however promised to match his record or even surpass it.
