BREAKING: Magistrate grants bail to suspended Kano Anti-Corruption Chairman, Rimingado

AREWA AGENDA – A Kano Chief Magistrate Court No. 58 Nomanslad has granted suspended Chairman of the state anti-corruption agency, Muhuyi Magaji Rimingado bail.

Muhuyi Magaji Rimingado was arraigned before the court on Friday for giving false information by the police.

Abba Gwale in his chat with Arewa Agenda reports that the Chief Magistrate, Aminu Gabari granted the defendant to a N500,000 bail with two surety that should include Maternal or paternal relations of the defendant and the Chief Imam of Sharada or Ja’en Jumuat Mosque.

He also directed the defendant to submit his travel documents with the court.

It was gathered that the judge arrived lately after Juma’at Congregational Prayer.

Recalled that, the embattled anticorruption chairman was arrested in Abuja on Thursday, shortly after undergoing screening as a governorship aspirant under the Peoples Democratic Party for Kano guber race.
