Kano Censorship Board Boss Bags Honorary Award
AREWA AGENDA – The Association of Motion Picture Editor’s Guide has conferred an award of excellence on the Executive Secretary of Kano State Censorship Board, Alh isma’ila Na’abba Affakallah.

According to a press statement by the Board’s Information Officer, Sharif Zahraddeen Usman Kofar Nassarawa and made available to Arewa Agenda, the Chairman of the Association, Alhaji Bashir Lawan while conferring the award said it was in recognition of Affakallah’s hard work and dedication to the development of film industry in the State.
He explained that due to Affakallah’s transformative strides, other states of the Federation are following the footsteps of Kano especially in restructuring of the film industry, to conform with culture and tradition of the people.
Receiving the award, Alh. Isma’ila Na’abba Affakallah thanked the Association for the honour.
In Another development, a software mobile Apps company has visited the Executive Secretary in his office to discuss on best practices in promoting Kannywood Activities online in collaboration with Kano State Censorship Board Film producers.
