AREWA AGENDA – Ibrahim Muhammad Lamin of Centre for Islamic Legal Studies (CILS), Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria has said that Boko Haram insurgency can be traced back to Nigeria’s “hidden enemy – the francophone connection.”

In a Comprehensive epistle directed at the Borno State Governor and sent to Arewa Agenda by Ibrahim Muhammad Lamin who is renowned scholar and diplomat of high repute, visited the history of why, where and when the insurgency sparked more especially in Northern Part of Nigeria.

Recall that Professor Babagana Umara Zulum FNSE mni on Thursday received a Cameroonian military delegation led by the 4th region joint military commander, General Saly Mohammadou at the Government House, Maiduguri.
The Cameroonian military were in Nigeria to share experiences and improve collaboration between forces of the two countries in the fight against insurgency in the Lake Chad region.

In this article, Ibrahim Muhammad Lamin further revealed that Cameron played a role in this “unbelievable war that was wrongly waged on the wrong people.”

Much before the “Bakassi Issue” which President Obāsanjo laid to Rest, the Cameroonians have made a Striking Attack on Our Gallant Army at the Border Post around the Mandara Plateau, and President Paul Biya has almost declared War on Nigeria as of then.

On the eve of that Horrible Attack, President Shāgāri was on a State Visit to Germany. Before his arrival, Nigerians had Furiously Signed their Support for the President to declare War against the Cameroonians. Governor “Abūbakar Rïmi” of Kano State was Foremost amongst those who Signed their Support for War against the Arrogance of the French Colony.

When Shāgāri arrived the State House in Marina-Lagos, he Summoned all those who have showed their Bitter Feelings about the Actions of the Cameroonian Government, and Governor Rïmi was amongst those whom President Shāgāri addressed. Shāgāri was said to have Said;

“Thank You so Much for Your Patriotism, Your Clean and Clear Love for this Great Country. But what i wish to Clarify to You as far as Cameroon’s Aggression on Us is Concern is that we May be Provoked to deal with this Tiny Country, unfortunately Many of You would not Conceive the Truth that we are not going to Fight with the Cameroonians, instead we are going into War with France Directly. And Quite Unfortunate, Britain has Supported for any Tested Aggression against us. We have this Intelligence Report of Plans towards Destabilizing us because we decided to Copy the American Democracy instead of maintaining our Colonial ‘Westminster Values’ ….”

The Intelligent Airforce Officer, Captain “Sampson Mshēlia” who is a Borno State indigent Played a Vital Role in the “Flight of Patriotism” over the Skies of Cameroon in Order to Cultivate a Signal to the French Colony that Nigeria Can Defend its “Territorial Rights” by all Means.

Captain Mshēlia was Threatened to Land Down in an “Airstrip” Closer to Yaounde, he Landed and was arrested. Three Military Constables were Crammed into his Cockpit whose Canopy cannot Contain all. Luckily there wasn’t a Pilot in the “Arrest Team” who were asked to take him to Doalar, the Cameroonian Capital to face the Wrath of the Cruel Frenchmen for “Espionage” charges.

Oh My God, Captain Mshēlia, a highly “Skilled Airman” Manoeuvred the Aircraft, Somersault the Air-Machine, giving the Cameroonian Vagabond a “Mesmerising Drowsy Trip” where within Minutes he Landed in Lagos with these illiterate French Soldiers as his Hostages.

President Shāgāri Bless the Officer, Promoted him and Accord the “Cameroonian Captives” a VIP Treatment. Lagos was quick to inform Doalar of the Latest Development. In fact there wasn’t any Need on the Side of the Federal Government to go into a Truce with the Cameroonian Government because we are not at War with them.

With all Patience, Simplicity, Kindness and Diplomacy, President Shāgāri handed over the Chaps back to their Country without any Bargain.

The Commotion died down because there was a President of the Giant of Africa who Knows what exactly he was doing.

Major General “Muhammadu Buhāri” was in charge of the Nigeria-Cameroonian Melee, and at that Very Time the Non-Nonsensical Army General could have gone into War with The Stupid French Colony if not for the Almighty’s Blessing that he Endowed Nigeria with an Enduring Leadership.

CAMEROON’S DAM BLOCKED LAKE CHAD FLOW TO NIGERIA

The Hundreds of Thousands of Millions of Irrigated Hectares of Land from Dikwa to Marte, Krenowa to Gambõro featured the Harvest of Wheat, Rice, Maize, Millet and all Sorts of Vegetables in Unquantifiable Metrics of Tons. In fact the Wheats grown on the Plains of that Vast Land alone were enough to Feed the Whole of Nigeria and Our neighbours without relying on a single Export. The United States was said to be behind the “Wheats Politics”, but the direct Involvement of France and its Colonies Disturbed Us more than any other.

President “Paul Biya” under instruction from Paris Blocked the Flow of the “Lake Chad Waters” to Stop the Continuity of “Shāgāri’s Green Revolution Programme”; The CBDA Project died and Collapsed till this Very Day.

Ambassador Engr. Bunu Sheiff Mūsä was in Charge of The “Chad Basin Development Authority” [CBDA] when the Programme goes down the Drain. In fact the Man’s Knowledge, Expertise and Experience of what happened in those days may help the Present Administration in exploring new ways of resurfacing the Ideal Project.

Prof. Baba Gana Umara Zulum, the Chief Executive of Borno State and Security Officer at the helm of Affairs is no doubt Disturbed by the Level of the Escalating Security of his Beloved State. Indeed anybody could be “Madly Lost” as to what to do going by the Bombings, Killings, Slaughterings and Butchering of his own People. Of Course Zulum will not hesitate to ask for a “Helping Hand” from anyone who will Seem to be According Such Assistance.

Unfortunately Gov. Zulum felt into the Wrong Hands because “Once a French, They are always French”, they would Never Change their Attitudes, Mentality and Plots.

The Destruction that happened to “Rwanda” was as a Result of the Full Hands of France into the War. They Supported, Supplied and Financed the War that saw the the Massacre of More than a Million Rwandans.

The Rwandan President, Mr. “Paul Kagame” after being in the Fullest Picture of France Treacherous, Barbaric and Extermination Agenda decided to Withdraw from his Francophonian Membership and Enlisted into the British Commonwealth to the extent of incorporating “English” as an Official Language against French which Rwanda had been Traditionally ran under.

Equally the Malian Experience is one Natural Issue which African Countries will Never Forgive France for.

The Borno State Governor, acting with a “Naive and Suspicious Support” from Aso Rock Signed Several Pacts with some Cameroonian Army Generals for a Protocol of Protection to Borno in fighting Bõko Harām Insurgents. However the Game isn’t “Definitely” going to be to Our Benefit.

In less than a Week of his High Powered Meeting with the Frenchmen (Cameroonian) Army Officers Inside Government House Maiduguri, “Banki” Township was attacked by the Bõko Harām Bastards. Prof. Zulum Naivety seemed to Accord the Misconception that the Business Town of Banki was more of Importance to the Cameroonians than to Nigerians. The Governor thought that the Mentality of The Cameroonians is that of a “Brothers Keeper”, but that isn’t the case and so can Never be because they have their Hidden Agenda.

THE NATURAL WEALTH OF THE SUB-SAHARAN REGION

The Calculations of what Prof. Zulum seem to have forgotten is the Historical Fact that as long as there is a “Natural Wealth” Scattered all over the Lake Chad Region that Falls 75% into Nigeria’s Territorial Entity, France will never allow its Commune (Colonies), Chad, Cameroon and even the Beloved Niger to let Nigeria See “Peace”.

THE COL. GADDAFI’S STRATEGY AGAINST CHAD

When the Geophysical Research of the Central African States was conducted by Libya’s Strongman, Late Col. “Muammar Gaddafi” to Ascertain the Spaciousness of its Natural Resources, Chad appeared to be under a High Deposit of Oil, Gas and Water which will Shrink Down Libya’s Wells because of the Lower Zoning in which Lays the Belt of the Chadian Deposits.

As Gaddafi knew how Bad Libya’s Shape Could be after Chad will decide to Tap its own Wealth, he was left with no Option rather than to ignite a “Civil War” that would keep destroying the Poor Central African State.

As Saudi Arabia did exactly to Yemen by declaring a Bitter War against it between 1955, 65 to 75 because of the “Strategic Positioning” of Yemen due to its Vast Deposits of all Natural Resources, Saudi Arabia Sponsored a Civil War between San’a and Hadramaut (North and South Yemen) which lasted for Well Over 25 Years.  Gaddafi applies the same Protocol when he Equipped both the Warring Forces and Factions of “Hussein Habre and Goucouni Waddai”, a Civil War that lasted for More than Twenty Years.

Until today, there are nearly  Two Million Chadians living as “Permanent Residents” of Nigeria in Maiduguri, Lagos, Kano, Abuja and many other cities who arrived the country as “Asylum Seekers”. The “Kõran Njemeina” whom President Shāgāri’s Administration has Welcomed with Brotherly “Open Hands” now Proved indifferent. Indeed it was Said, “Be Careful with the One You helped at a Trying Times, for he Might Transform to be an Enemy”.

BÕKO HARĀM – CHADIAN AND CAMEROONIAN PLAN

At Whatever length, we can’t deny the Fact that President Idrīs Deiby was in a Clear Picture about how the “Bõko Harām Terrorist Organisation” was Created. He can Never deny being Ignorant of their Movement. Several Individuals, Independent Journalists, International Organisations and Academicians have Evidently discussed Chadian Government Involvement in the Bõko Harām Insurgency.

In fact neither Chad nor Cameroon will ever Accord Nigeria a Helping Hand into the War with Bõko Harām because they know what Purpose and Interest the Terrorists were Serving and Servicing them.

The Tendency that they (Chad and Cameroon) will Sign Truce, Contracts and Agreements with Abūbakar Shekau is very Much at hand.

When Prof. Zulum will Naively Sign Agreement with those Cameroonian Generals, he doesn’t actually know that he has “Indirectly” Stamped and Thumb Printed a Bond with the “Jamā’atu Ahlus-Sunnäh Lid-Da’awati Wal-Jihād”.

Definitely the Cameroonians and Chadians will never Fight against Bõko Harām. In fact they will “Dine” with them and keep on telling Gov. Zulum that all was going well against the Bastards. And who knows what General Buratai’s Declaration that, “Terrorism will Perhaps Last for another Twenty Years in Nigeria” is a Guided Clue from Allah (SWT) signalling to Us that something with Seriously Bad Odour  Smelling was Plotted against the Sovereignty of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Actually one could hardly find anyone to Trust at this Hasty Moment of the “Scrambling for Money” which Heartless People have gone into, Forgetting all Natural Human Feelings on how to Help the Less Privileged, the Vulnerable, the Oppressed and the Displaced Peoples of their Fatherland.

But despite the existence of Wickedness in Our Military, indeed without Argument, the Assignment of Fighting Terrorism in Borno by The Nigerian Army is Far better than Engaging the Assistance of a Foreign Country like Cameroon-Chad or employ the Services of “Mercenaries” under whatever Circumstances Borno State will happen to be. For Sure the “Devil You Know is Better than an Unknown Angel”.

And as long as we have Contained and Withstood the War for More than a Decade, right at the very Time when “Mamman Yūsuf’s” boys were Operating Freely inside Yerwa City (Maiduguri) to the very Time they Relocated into Sambisa, the Residents of Maiduguri Metropolitan and Many Local Governments of the State were going about their Normal Activities with Full “Tawakkul” (Absolute Reliance On Allah SWT) that one day Nigerians will “Defeat” these Boys, or that, when these Guys Realise that they Can’t Win, they will for Sure “Surrender” and Give it Up.

I heard a Brother Whispering in Solace Prayers to the Almighty Allah (SWT) in a Fajr Prayers, Saying;

“Allāhummä Please don’t allow Governor Zulum to be in any Hurry so that he falls into the Trappings of Our Enemies. Don’t let him to himself so that he keeps Counting on how he Dearly and Darely wishes to earn the Emblem and Medallion of the Championship in this War; Please Yā Allah let Zulum Act Wisely, so that he Keeps on Praying Unto You and Continue Asking You to Lead him Righteously, that You Merge and Connect him up with People whom You Endowed with Wisdom who will Show him to the Way Out of this Quagmire; Indeed such Persons do exist within Our Midst, and he will Definitely reach to them with Searching. Yā Allah Guide Your Poor Servant, Prof. Zulum to See the Light, for indeed his idea of Mercenaries was a Wrong One;

“Yā Allāh, no doubt Bornowans and indeed all Nigerians believed in the Sincere Stewardship, Serious Selflessness and Pious Objectivity of Governor Zulum in Helping his Own People whom You entrusted him with. Yā  Allah don’t let him be Overwhelmed, let him go Ahead slowly and Make it easy for him. Allāhummä in You Is Our Entire Trust and Reliance, Certainly Inshā Allah and Bi’iznillāh Zulum will Win the highest Prize of Your Pleasure at Last”.

The “Advisers” around Governor Zulum ought to “Deeply Study” Matters which the Executive Officer may tend to Decide in Decreeing for the Benefit of the State but will Somehow be a “Wrong Move” which Might at Last Prove Detrimental to our Entire Machinery of Governance.

I Personally Believe that Allah’s Blessing Within Us will Never End. I Equally Believe that those “Pious Persons” whom Allah (SWT) has Endowed with Naturally Impeccable Knowledge and Discernment in Their Exertions and Decisively Concrete Decisions are very Much Around within Our Reach. I hope and Pray that Allah (SWT) will Guide this “Miskīnin” Governor, Prof. Baba Gana Umara Zulum towards these Kind of Supernatural Human Beings.

Long Live Borno State and its Oppressed People, Long Live all The Selfless Administrators in True Governance of their People, Long Live the Federal Republic of Nigeria in Allah’s Blessings, Guidance and Everlasting Protection.
