The project is largely funded by Bature himself, supplemented by contributions from family, friends, and donations received during condolence visits after Sadiq’s passing.
These funds, Bature emphasized, will help turn his vision into reality.
At the helm of the center will be Goni Ishaq Maratai, a respected Quranic scholar with over forty years of teaching experience.
“Goni Ishaq has been my teacher for 35 years, and with this center, I hope to expand on the positive impact he has had in our community,” Bature said.
The Sadiq Maddibo Memorial Quranic Centre stands as a legacy to Bature’s son, Sadiq, who recently lost his battle with sickle cell anemia, and will be a source of enduring education and inspiration for future generations.
