AREWA AGENDA – She is beautiful in her looks, beautiful in what she says and beautiful in what she does. Her outer beauty does not just attract, but her inner beauty captivates, enthrals, hypnotizes, Infatuate, spellbound and allures. No wonder many Ebiras are avidly desirous of seeing her in the hallowed chamber of the senate in 2023, the upper legislative chamber where the Ebiras had elusively suffered sententious and significant representation since the country’s return to democracy in 1999.
Like all women, a lioness also plays the role of three in one, a protector, a provider, and a loving mother to her cubs; these embody and exemplify what Barrister Natasha Hadiza Akpoti stands for.
A Queen in every way, she is the ideal model of tenderness and fierceness that women will ever find. She depicts a magnificent image of beauty and strength and a sufficing example is her umpteenth agitation for the resuscitation of Ajaokuta moribund steel company in Ajaokuta, Kogi state, where in one of her speeches in 2014 revealed how a Russian company had to abandon the project in 1994 because Nigeria fell short of its contractual agreement by not releasing funds needed for the completion of the steel company.
Ohi’ogu also revealed that Russian former president, Vladimir Putin wrote the Nigerian government on how to modernize and complete the Ajaokuta complex, but key Nigerian actors have been silent on the offer because of their interest in the steel company.
Like a lone lioness, she roared, took the front seat in this agitation for not just the betterment of Kogi citizens but the entirety of Nigerians while the “lions” remain shelled in sepulchral silence, with their voices hoarse; and condemned to what Elizabeth Noulle Neumann referred to “spiral of silence”.
They couldn’t bellow let alone roar because they are nothing but boars.
As a lioness woman, she exists in all her glory, being courageous and empowering not just women but all mankind, the traits which can be seen in her several intervention programs for the needy irrespective of religious and clannish affiliations.
She is fearless, bold and at the same time aware of her responsibilities and faithful to them.
She is a true friend, a mother and Amazon who lifts, encourages, corrects, and then spurs her people on.

As a lioness, she has a lot more power than the lion likes to think he has.
Natasha Hadiza Akpoti is a lioness when defending her people and never let them down. She will roar when her power only whispers, she uses all of her strength even when hunting a rabbit of injustice against her people.
Natasha Hadiza Akpoti is rather a lone lioness, roaring and free than a caged bird without even a name to call her own, and never cringe at them.
She defends when her people are attacked.
Like a lioness, Natasha Hadiza Akpoti is a magnificent image of strength, passion, and beauty.
She stands for the fierce defence of her family and is a more than capable provider.
Little did the “lions” forget that lionesses are the main hunters in the group of lions (pride). They provide food for the male lion and cubs. That is their main responsibility, and if the female lioness decides to turn on the male lion, he’d be in for a fight for his life.
Like a lioness, Natasha Hadiza Akpoti is a caring mother and the glue that keeps the pride thriving and together. She unifies all Ebira for the common purpose healthy wellbeing of Ebiraland.
Natasha Hadiza Akpoti like a lioness stands at the gate of the Ebira home, whatever happens in that homeland Ebiraland, happens because she cares about it and it matters to her.
As the whirlwind of the 2023 General Election is gradually gathering momentum, and Barrister Natasha Hadiza Akpoti has put herself forward to represent the Ebiras at the hallowed red chamber of the Senate, I say congratulations in arrears to all Ebiras who have been in a dire need and thirsty of a vociferous and exuberant voice of representation at the Senate.
