A statement signed on Sunday by Governor Bello Matawalle’s Special Adviser on Media and Communications, Zailani Bappa, said that the renewed onslaught against the unrepentant bandits is a testament to the fact that the new policy of “carrot and Stick approach” adopted by the current administration is paying off.

“Dauran handed over the kidnapped victims to their families on behalf of Governor Bello Matawalle and commended the military for the renewed onslaught to secure communities in the state. He promised that the State Government will continue to support the Military in its operations until banditry is wiped out in the state.”
