Breaking: Azman Air to Resume Flight as NCAA Lifts Suspension

The Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) has lifted the suspension of Azman Air operations.

Azman Air announced this on its verified Twitter handle on Saturday.
Recall that the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) suspended the operations of all the Boeing 737 aircraft in the fleet of Azman Air Services Limited, over safety-related issues with effect from March 15, 2021.

According to the aviation authority, the suspension was pursuant to Section 35 (2) of the Civil Aviation Act, 2006 and Part 1.3.3.3 (A) of the Nigeria Civil Aviation Regulations (Nig.CARs) 2015.

It said the suspension was to enable the authority to conduct an audit of the airline to determine the root cause(s) of the incidents and recommend corrective actions to forestall recurrence.

Also, a source with the airline told Solacebase that NCAA and Azman Air management just concluded a zoom meeting this afternoon and the airline hopes to roll out flight schedule shortly next week.
