Atiku Visits Saraki, Wike, Others seeks national unity
AREWA AGENDA – The Peoples Democratic Party presidential flag bearer, Atiku Abubakar, on Monday, met with his contenders, Governor Nysom Wike, two former Senate Presidents, Bukola Saraki and Senator Anyim Pious Anyim in Abuja.
In a tweet posted to his official Twitter page, @atiku, on Monday, the Waziri Adamawa said the purpose of the meeting was in respect to his commitment to bring everyone on board and unify Nigeria as well as strengthening the cohesion of his political party, PDP.
Atiku wrote,
In continuation of my commitment to bring everyone on board in ensuring that the @OfficialPDPNig stands as one united party, earlier today, I visited His Excellency Gov Nyseom Wike at his Abuja residence. This is a continuous process.

He later confirmed his meeting with Bukola Saraki where he tweeted: “To unify our country Nigeria, we have to start with bringing every member of the @OfficialPDPNig under the covering of the umbrella. My visit to @bukolasaraki not long ago underscores this commitment. More to follow. -AA.”
In another Tweet, Atiku was spotted with Senator Anyim Pius Anyim at his residence whereby he said, I was also at the residence of Senator Anyim Pius Anyim to pay him a courtesy visit and consult with him on strengthening the cohesion in our great party, @OfficialPDPNig. -AA #OneNigeria
Atiku had defeated Wike, Saraki, Anyim and others at the party’s presidential primary in Abuja on Saturday night.
The meeting with Bukola Saraki was also attended by a former senator representing the Kogi West Senatorial District, Dino Melaye.
