Arewa Women, KALAMED Advocate for Societal Change in Kano
According to Martin Luther King, Man must evolve for all human conflict a method which rejects revenge, aggression and retaliation. The foundation of such a method is love.
In love of Celebrating one year of Great success in with over 2000 beneficiaries on series monthly mentorship dialogue sessions, Kano Ladies Mentors and Mentees Dialogue (KALAMED) has came to be in shaping negative Narrative in the society.
Many Northern ladies encounter challenges that bridge the gap of pursuing their desired dreams, on the other hands the potential aspect of the women are swept with full of abuse, discrimination, stigmatization,tribalism and other social factors.
Northern ladies are seen to be less in respective occasions which portrait their weakness physically, spiritually and mentally, the birth of KALAMED began after kano youth summit organized by youth society for the prevention of infectious disease and social vices YOSPIS, supported by Aminu Magashi Garba foundation.

In addition, CV writing and negotiation, self Branding ,sustainable Development Goals and leadership skills. Community outreach at Takai Local Government Areas on breast cancer Awareness with a target of more than 300 women and school girls.
In a nutshell, Prof MB Shittu from Bayero University added that, KALAMED has been the best version for women supporting women in the state. The epic mentors that carried out the sessions by mere looking at their portfolio, it is a massive movement of societal change in kano.
In a year , KALAMED host mentors like Amina Idris Ibrahim, Dr maryam Nasir, Malam Ahmad Muhammad, Fatima Musa Aliyu, Dr Musa Abdullahi sufi and Dr Mustapha Shehu.
