Arewa Stars Award: Kannywood Series Movie “Manyan Mata” Wins Social Impact Movie Award
Kannywood film series “Manyan Mata” has won the social impact movie award of the year 2023 in the honorary category of the second edition of the 30 under 30 Arewa Stars Award and Conference.
The movie produced by Abdnur Entertainment, won the award for its socially relevant storyline that skillfully navigates the intricacies of contemporary social challenges in Northern Nigeria; from gender and economic issues to cultural clashes and political unrest.

The Award event which was organised by Arewa Agenda a publication of Image Merchants Promotion Limited (IMPR) – publishers of PRNigeria and other titles in collaboration with Daily Nigerian also honored 30 under 30 youngsters for their outstanding success in various areas which include innovation, arts, technology, sports, entertainment, activism, humanitarian work, social media impact etc.
Tagged “30 Under 30 Arewa Stars,” the second edition of the award ceremony was held in Kano on Friday to celebrate the best brains from the North who are making impacts and inspiring others.
The 30 superstars were selected from over 700 nominees by a team of judges led by Mustapha Shehu, a development practitioner, educatiom planner and girl child advocate and made up of scholars, senior journalists, business leaders, and tech icons assembled by the organisers.
