VIDEO: Busted ‘Alcohol Pusher’ in N500,000 Bribery Scandal with KAROTA MD
AREWA AGENDA – An alcohol pusher in Kano has been caught on tape trying to bribe the Managing Director of the Kano State Road and Traffic Agency (KAROTA) with N500,000 after his truck load of alcohol content was impounded by men of the Agency in the metropolis.

In a video clip obtained by Arewa Agenda, the Managing Director, KAROTA, Baffa Babba Danagundi was seen handing over the wads of cash and samples of the impounded contraband to men of the Kano State Hisbah Board and those of the State Public Complaint and Anti-Corruption Commission, PCACC, in front of the culprit.

According to findings by this medium, the culprit had made frantic effort to compromise the KAROTA boss after his truck was impounded. The MD invited him over to his office while putting men of other security and response agencies on alert and they swooped on him as he came in with the bribe money.
The case is now in the hands of the State Hisbah Board and PCACC for onward prosection.
Efforts to reach the KAROTA spokesperson, Nabilusi Abubakar Kofar Na’isa and the Special Adviser, Media and Publicity to the Managing Director, Abubakar Abba Kwaru who was said to have filmed the incidence, did not yield at the time of filing this report.
