AKTH to Deliver Free Ear Care Service to Kano Community
AREWA AGENDA – A team of doctors and health professionals from the Otorhinolaryngology unit of Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital will conduct free ear care services to the people of Rano Local Government Area of Kano state.
The excersise will be undertaken on Wednesday 3rd March 2021 at the General Hospital of the Local Government.

According to a statement signed by Hauwa Muhammad Abdullahi, Asstant Director Information/PR Unit and made available to the Information and Public Relations Unit of Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital, the free ear care services will be provided to the people as part of their corporate social responsibility in commemorating this year’s World Hearing Day.
The Head of Otorhinolaryngology Department of the hospital, Dr. Muhammad Ghazali Hasheem stated that the exercise will include health talk on the ear care by the Otorhinolaryngology Nurses, hearing screening , Consultation, Ear dressing,Ear syringing and counseling on best / healthy Ear care.
The theme of this year’s 2021 World Hearing Day dubbed: Hearing Care For All, is calling on the general public and the media to assist in promoting care of the Ear especially with the rampant usage of earpiece by millennials.
