Again, Abba Appoints Family Relative as MD KAROTA, 3 Other MDs, 6 Special Advisers
AREWA AGENDA – Engr. Abba Kabir Yusuf, Governor of Kano State appointed another close family relative Engr. Faisal Mahmud Kabir as Managing Director, Kano Road Traffic Agency (KAROTA), three other managing directors of different agencies..
This is contained in a statement signed by Hisham Habib, Spokesperson to the executive governor on Tuesday night.
Other appointments of Managing Directors are as follows; Alhaji Abdullahi Rabiu as MD Housing Corporation, Alhaji Ahmadu Haruna Danzago (former Kano APC Chairman) MD REMASAB, and Hon Hisham Habib as MD Radio Kano.

The appointments are with immediate effect according to statement.
The appointment of MD KAROTA is not the first of Abba’s engaging his family members in the affairs of his government, few weeks ago Politics Digest reported the Governor to have appointed his nephew, Ahmad A. Yusuf as the Executive Secretary of state’s History and Culture Bureau.
Recall that Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf made a promise after receiving his Certificate of Return in Kano that he will not allow his family interfere with the running affairs of the state.
