AAG Foundation Pays WAEC, NECO Registration to Kano Indigenes
AREWA AGENDA – Adamu Abubakar Gwarzo Foundation has sponsored 100 Students to write WAEC and NECO examinations in Kano State
Recalled that Kano Educational Resource Department released Qualifying examination result lately last week whereby the results recorded a mass failure in the State.
The qualifying examination gave students the chance or otherwise to be sponsored by the state government to take the Senior School Certificate Examination.
For students to qualify for sponsorship, they are expected to score credits in seven subjects, including Mathematics and English.
While briefing the newsmen in Kano Dr Musa Abdullahi Sufi, Technical Adviser of Adamu Abubakar Gwarzo Foundation said they picked students from less privileged family and paid their registration fee despite the shortest time of NECO Registration dateline.

He added that the students who failed the qualifying examination and doesn’t have the required money to register for the WAEC/NECO examinations are many and are in dire need of support from the philanthropists of the state.
“There is need for our philanthropists in the state to give more support on educational career of our youthful generation for the purpose of promoting the less privileged education in the state” Sufi added
He later appreciates the effort of Adamu Abubakar Gwarzo Foundation founder for supporting and encouraging the less privileged students to continue with their education in the state.
One of the beneficiaries also thanked the foundation and lamented that she will read hard to graduate with fruitful result as the foundation gave her a courage to further her education.
