AA Gwarzo Foundation to Partner with International NGO on Research, SDGs
AREWA AGENDA – Adamu Abubakar Gwarzo Foundation met with CARE International Organization, Niger Republic chapter in essence to partner for the Educational Research, Strengthening the Civil Society Organizations and promoting bilateral relationship between Niger and Nigeria through attainment of Sustainable Development Goals in the duo countries.
The meeting was held at Maradi, Niger Republic whereby the Technical Adviser of Adamu Abubakar Gwarzo Foundation, Dr Musa Abdullahi Sufi (PhD. Scholar MAAUN) under the watch of Maryam Abacha American University of Niger (MAAUN) met and discussed the core partnership areas with CARE Food Security Coordinator of Niger, Oumaru Tankare at his office.

After sharing briefs of the two organizations, the core related partnership areas discussed at the meeting were; Educational Research, organising Symposiums, Workshop and Public Lecture in collaboration with MAAUN, Maradi. Also strengthening the capacity of Civil Society Organizations in order to improve learning coordination and regional participation in attaining the Sustainable Development Goals in West African Region. Media engagements, supporting the less privileged, improving quality education at primary level, health education, women and youths empowerment programmes were part of the partnership explored at the meeting.
The Technical Coordinator of A.A. Gwarzo Foundation, Musa Abdullahi Sufi said, “It’s a great opportunity to the foundation in expanding its support across the African continent in the areas of education, health and humanitarian projects. We are happy for this partnership while looking forward for formal kick-starting process as soon as possible”.
On his part Oumaru Tankare, appreciates the effort of the foundation and termed it as a welcome development and a great chance for the two Organizations coming together to improve human life in Niger Republic and promote the bilateral relationship of the countries in partnership.
He later vowed to engage MAAUN students on internship and research works in his Organization.
